The rules for using Doughie, written to be read.

About Doughie

Doughie is an app for keeping track of shared costs. It is provided by William Hermansson, a private individual in Stockholm, Sweden. By creating an account you accept these terms.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 years old to use Doughie.
  • Give a correct name and email address, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account.

What Doughie does, and what it doesn’t

  • Doughie calculates balances from what the members of a group enter. Check amounts before you pay.
  • Doughie does not hold, send or receive money. Payments happen in Swish, Vipps or another service, under that service’s own terms.
  • Exchange rates are the latest available when an expense is added and can differ from your bank’s.

Shared groups

Everyone in a group can add, edit and delete its expenses. Every change is logged in the group’s activity. Only invite people you trust, and don’t add content that is unlawful or that you don’t have the right to share.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Doughie to break the law, harass anyone or record expenses you know are false.
  • Don’t try to access other people’s data, disrupt the service or copy the app.

Price

Doughie is free to use. If paid features are added, you’ll see the price before you buy.

Availability and liability

Doughie is developed by one person and offered as it is. It may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent Swedish law allows, Doughie is not liable for indirect losses or for disagreements between group members about money. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using Doughie and delete your account at any time. An account that breaks these terms can be suspended or deleted.

Changes to the terms

If the terms change in a way that matters, you’ll be told in the app before the change takes effect.

Law and disputes

Swedish law applies. If something goes wrong, write to support@doughieapp.com first. As a consumer you can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at arn.se.
